Tianjin Shipping Index(TSI) is released officially in Sep 28th, 2010. The ceremony of releasing Tianjin Shipping Index is held in Tianjin International Trade and Shipping Service Center.
Tianjin Shipping Index is market-oriented, whose major function is to help the shipping andtrading enterprises to analyze the market trends in the future by reflecting the state of shipping market and freight rates.
According to the principle of “planningholistically and implementseparately”, Tianjin Container Freight Index (TCI) and Tianjin Bulk Freight Index (TBI) are published in the first place, both of which are published daily. The time of publishing is 11:00 (BJT) and 15:00 (BJT) respectively.
