In Brazil, frequent rainfall across the southern soybean-producing regions has slowed planting progress. As of the latest reporting period, 47% of soybeans have been planted, down from 54% at the same time last year. According to Brazilian forecasts, the 2025/26 soybean planting area is expected to reach 48.6 million hectares, with total production estimated at 176.7 million tons. In Argentina, favorable weather conditions have supported smooth planting progress, with the current soybean planting rate at 7.9%.
In the transportation market, forward freight rates stood at USD 40.00 per ton on Nov.3 (Mon.). From Nov.4 to 7 (Tue. to Fri.), rates remained stable and ultimately closed at USD 40.00 per ton.
