To better reflect the shipping market fluctuations in Northern China, Tianjin International Trade and Shipping Service Center has evaluated the sample routes thoroughly in 2016. Based on the evaluation results and the opinions from panelists, it is decided that the fractional adjustment will be carried out on Tianjin Bulk Freight Index (TBI), while Tianjin Container Freight Index (TCI) and Tianjin Domestic Freight Index (TDI) remain unchanged. The details of adjustment are shown as followed.
1. Tianjin Bulk Coal Freight Index
Adjust the original route of HAY POINT (AUSTRALIA)→ TIANJIN (CHINA) to HAY POINT (AUSTRALIA)→ Qingdao (CHINA).
2. Tianjin Bulk Mineral Freight Index
Delete the route of SULAWESI (INDONESIA)→TIANJIN (CHINA) (NICKEL ORE), the other routes remain unchanged.
