In order to accurately reflect the latest changes in the international container market in Tianjin and even the northern region, further enhance the market representativeness of the Tianjin Container Freight Index, and better serve port, shipping, and trade enterprises, based on the analysis and research of relevant data from Tianjin Port and market research, the “Tianjin to Indonesian Basic Port Route”, “Tianjin to Thai-Vietnamese Basic Port Route”, and “Tianjin to Indian Basic Port Route” will be launched from January 2, 2025. The adjustment was made in accordance with the Tianjin Shipping Index Compilation Management Plan and Revised Workflow, following procedures such as data collection, trial calculations, evaluations, and assessments. The original “Tianjin to Southeast Asian Klang Route”, “Tianjin to Southeast Asian Ho Chi Minh Route”, and “Tianjin to Indian-Pakistan Basic Port Route” will be suspended.
